About
MY BACKGROUND
吳佩璇（1988）畢業於台南應用科技大學MFA, 作品關注人與人的之間的關係、人與人之間的距離，利用版畫的型態（概念）為媒介紀錄時間、過程與在這之間的一切事物。作品媒材為平面作品、行為錄像、複合媒材、空間裝置等。技法專長在於平版與凹版。
Pei-Hsuan Wu (1988) earned her MFA degree in Fine Arts from Tainan University of Technology. Her work primarily focuses on the dynamics of human relationships and the spaces that separate individuals. She employs printmaking as a means to document time, processes, and everything in between. Her artistic repertoire encompasses a diverse range of media, including found objects, and print. She specializes in intaglio and lithography techniques.
2014 年創辦 Texture 版畫工作室，致力將版畫成為連結世界的線索，將 Texture 成為聯繫資訊與情誼的管道。其實踐從個人創作延伸至技術研究、策展與國際交流，透過藝術家進駐、交換及跨國合作，建立不同創作者、工作室與版畫機構之間的交流網絡。近年研究聚焦於環境友善版畫材料、替代製程及平版技術，並關注技術如何透過工作室實踐與知識分享持續發展。
In 2014, she founded Texture Printmaking Studio with a commitment to making printmaking a means of connecting with the world and Texture a channel for sharing information and fostering friendships. Her practice has expanded from individual artistic creation to printmaking education, technical research, curatorial practice, and international exchange. Through artist residencies, exchange programs, and international collaborations, she continues to build connections among artists, studios, and printmaking institutions. In recent years, her research has focused on environmentally responsible printmaking materials, alternative processes, and lithographic techniques.
現任 Texture 版畫工作室負責人與創辦人、中華民國版畫學會會員、台灣版畫國際交流協會會員。曾任台灣版畫國際交流協會秘書長、台南應用科技大學美術系講師，並具有版畫教學、策展與藝術推廣經驗；曾策劃多項國際版畫交換與共同創作計畫，並參與國內外版畫機構之講座、工作坊及評審工作。
She currently serves as Director and Founder of Texture Printmaking Studio and is a member of The Graphic Art Society of The Republic of China and the Taiwan International Printmaking Exchange Association. She previously served as Secretary-General of the Taiwan International Printmaking Exchange Association and as a lecturer in the Department of Fine Arts at Tainan University of Technology. She has experience in printmaking education, curatorial projects, international exchange programs, artist talks, workshops, and jury activities in Taiwan and abroad.
